Lord of the Church, you have promised to provide pastors and teachers for your church.

You have also promised that there will always be a plentiful harvest and not enough workers for the harvest field. We praise you today for the work of Martin Luther College in training those future pastors and teachers you provide and pray that many more young men and women would consider offering themselves for service in your Church. You declare that those who desire this work desire a noble task. Help us encourage more to seek out this noble task and grant that Martin Luther College continue to prepare them to be instruments of your peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
