Dear God, grant our students and professors an abundance of Your wisdom.

Dear God,

Grant our students and professors an abundance of Your wisdom. Give Professors grace as they help students who aren’t thriving, courage to say what needs to be said, tools and knowledge on how and when to speak love, and strength when they feel weak. They are shaping the future in one million small – yet incredibly important – ways every day. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the gift of learning they share with MLC students. Bless them, Lord, and may they see even just a glimpse of how their faithfulness will forever impact generations to come.

Amen.

Prayers from the 4th and 5th Graders at Faith Tacoma, Washington

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help the students stay with God the whole way through.
Help the students learn so they can be teachers of your Word.
Help them share the good news with everyone.
Help them know God loves them.
Help them guide the children they shall teach to learn the way to everlasting life in Jesus Christ.
Help them to find the perfect church to teach others about Jesus at.
Help them to walk in God’s ways and help them to teach children about their Savior.
Please help the churches and schools who need pastors and teachers get a pastor or teacher to walk in the ways of the Lord.
Please help them teach God’s Word as a teacher/pastor.
Please help the MLC students to become great pastors or teachers. Please help them walk in God’s ways.
Help the students learn to love and respect God and walk in God’s footsteps.
Help MLC to get more people to come and learn to be a pastor or teacher and to follow God’s Word and love God and read the Bible.
We thank you Lord for all of the students who are willing to serve you.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen

MLC is an integral part of WELS.

MLC is an integral part of WELS.

Our congregation has been blessed with many well-educated, dedicated teachers who showed their love for our Savior in their lives and work. Thanks be to God and the staff at MLC.

Dear Lord – may you move the hearts of our young people to come to MLC to train for the ministry.

Dear Lord – may you move the hearts of our young people to come to MLC to train for the ministry.

The need is great but the workers are few. Thank you also for the privilege to work with these wonderful young adults on campus and share in their journey to serve their Lord and Savior. Thanking God for MLC today and every day!

Lord of the Church, you have promised to provide pastors and teachers for your church.

Lord of the Church, you have promised to provide pastors and teachers for your church.

You have also promised that there will always be a plentiful harvest and not enough workers for the harvest field. We praise you today for the work of Martin Luther College in training those future pastors and teachers you provide and pray that many more young men and women would consider offering themselves for service in your Church. You declare that those who desire this work desire a noble task. Help us encourage more to seek out this noble task and grant that Martin Luther College continue to prepare them to be instruments of your peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
